Hello,

I’m Alice, a certified performance and leadership coach with a passion for helping tech professionals unlock their true potential.

After more than 20 years in software engineering—across academia, Google, and startups—I began asking myself not what I should be doing, but what I really wanted to do. I realized that while I still love technology, my true passion is in the human side of it—the people and connections that make everything possible. That’s when I shifted my focus from debugging systems to supporting the people behind them. Now, I consider myself a “human debugger.”

My mission is to help you amplify your impact at work while enjoying the process. I believe that deep down, we all know what’s best for us—we just need the right space and support to uncover it.

My coaching is grounded in values that mean a lot to me: respect, fairness, diversity, and collaboration.

Based in Paris, I offer coaching in both English and French, either remotely or in person.

My Story

I grew up in Saint Étienne, France, where a middle school coding class sparked a lifelong love for problem-solving. That curiosity led to a PhD in Computer Science and, in 2005, a role at Google just as Gmail was coming out of beta and Google Maps was launching.

My Google Years

During my 12 years at Google, I saw the company grow more than tenfold, which shaped both my technical and leadership skills. I progressed from junior engineer to Staff Software Engineer, Tech Lead, and Engineering Manager. While I enjoyed managing teams, my favorite role—and where I spent most of my time—was as a Staff Software Engineer. In that role, I learned how to influence without authority, recognizing that communication and collaboration were as vital as technical expertise in driving impact.

One of the projects closest to my heart was being a founding engineer on the Google Crisis Response team, where we built tools to help people during natural disasters. It reinforced my belief in the power of technology to make a tangible difference in people’s lives.

Shifting Focus: Advising and Consulting

After almost two decades in tech, I began asking myself not what I should be doing, but what I truly wanted to do. Though I was happy at Google, I felt the need to pause and reflect on my strengths and the kind of impact I wanted to have. Working with a coach during this time helped me find clarity.

This led me to step away from Google and spend 5 years advising and consulting for senior tech leaders in startups, with projects spanning the US, Kenya, France, and Haiti. I found it incredibly rewarding to help leaders solve complex challenges, and I realized that my greatest impact came not from offering advice, but from helping people find their own answers.

Coaching People Who Build Technology

My consulting work made me realize how much I enjoyed helping others unlock their potential. To deepen my skills, I attended coaching school and became a certified coach, transitioning fully into this new role.

Today, I coach tech professionals in the US and France, helping them discover their strengths and apply them to have more impact—while still having fun.

For me, coaching is about creating space for people to reflect, grow, and move forward with clarity and confidence. I strongly believe that deep down, we all know what’s best for ourselves—we just need the space and support to discover it.
